Deputy Executive Officer
£24,000 - £26,000 p.a. (pro-rata) depending on skills and experience
15 hours per week - Flexible working pattern to be agreed
Swanmore Parish Council is looking to recruit an innovative, forward thinking and proactive Deputy Executive Officer to assist the Executive Officer and the Council’s operations. Supporting, maintaining and developing facilities in Swanmore for the benefit of all residents, visitors and workers.
Key attributes are we looking for:
Excellent people skills, including the ability to work with Councillors, members of the public and third party organisations.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively, either orally, in writing or electronically and to present views positively.
Experience of the operation and management of social media channels.
Some elements of the role will be those traditionally associated with a Parish Clerk, however, somebody who does not currently have those qualifications should not be put off as we are looking for the right person to fit our team. If you think you are that person, full training for that aspect of the role would be provided.
